- Appropriate growth media: YMG agar, YMG broth.
- Growth Temperature: 25-35C.
MORPHOLOGY
- Spore chains are rectiflexibiles.
- Spore surface is smooth.
- Aerial spore is yellowish grey.
- Substrate mycelium is yellowish grey–orange.
- Diffusible pigment is absent.
- Spore arrangement is long, straight to flexuous.
- Spores on substrate mycelium is absent.
- Growth in the presence of sodium azide (0.01 %, w/v) is absent.
- Utilization of citrate is present.
